I like getting achievemnts for xbox 360 and in madden 06 but there is a problem.....?

the achievments that say " score a firstdown" and "score a touchdown" dont unlock. i dont undertand why they wont unlock. i do it in an offline game mode and got 20 first downs and it wont work. why?
