I Quit Starbucks 6 Years Ago; do I possibly have a chance to be rehired?

Starbucks is closing hundreds of shops across the country and laying off a large percentage of staff. Any openings anywhere have to be offered first to existing staff that are about to be laid off. Regardless of past issues, you are not likely to be rehired this year or next. They just aren't hiring!
