Why is disagreement interpreted as an insult?

There are a lot of wussies out there! I'm glad to see your example of Xian, Xmas. I use those all the time, and they have a long history. X is the Greek letter for CH, the first letter of Christ, and was used as a symbol for Christ since the early days of Christianity. I often use it as shorthand when taking notes, and get so annoyed at uninformed people who think it is some kind of insult! If that's the worst persecution these people have to endure, they should be thanking God! <*)))><
