USPS says my package was 'missent/misrouted'. Does this mean it was lost?

Every piece of mail is processed by sorting centers. Sometimes a piece will be misrouted and sent to the wrong post office. This is where the sorting error is realized. It usually results in a 1 or 2 day delay, don't worry. Your package has NOT been delivered to someone else.
