Bronowski's Ascent of Man?

Copernicus's ideas were , to say the least, 'revolutionary'!!.... just the publishing of the papers was his own 'revolt' against the teachings of the Church..... his ideas started a real revolution in thinking.... the word may have started out with its meaning in astronomy, but with his ideas, someone who agreed with him, could have been called a 'revolutionary'.... much the same way as some of the folks I know are called ' evolutionists'.....
